Cricket Betting Guide for Beginners
Everything you need to know to start betting on cricket in Bangladesh
How Cricket Betting Works
Cricket betting is placing a wager on the outcome of a cricket match or specific events within it. You predict what will happen, and if you are right, you win money based on the odds offered by the bookmaker.
For example, if Bangladesh is playing India and the odds for Bangladesh to win are 3.50, a BDT 1,000 bet would return BDT 3,500 if Bangladesh wins (BDT 2,500 profit + your BDT 1,000 stake).
Understanding Odds
Decimal Odds (most common in BD):
Odds of 1.50 = Low risk, low return (BDT 1,000 bet returns BDT 1,500)
Odds of 2.00 = Even chance (BDT 1,000 bet returns BDT 2,000)
Odds of 3.50 = Higher risk, higher return (BDT 1,000 bet returns BDT 3,500)
Higher odds = less likely outcome = bigger potential payout
